ThunderBird 0.8
Thunderbird 0.8 was recently released. Its the e-mail application which complements Mozilla Firefox.
New features in this version include a RSS newsreader like a cutdown version of FeedReader built in - very handy. The other main advantages are security (HTML mail is rendered by mozilla engine not IE), a (effective) spam filter is built in and its light and fast.
Thunderbird is well worth a look. It is much better than Outlook Express and might replace Outlook for some users who dont need the PIM features like todo lists and the exchange compatibility.
I use Thunderbird as a day to day email client and I am quite happy with it. Give it a try.
