Graphs
Graph of my progress so far:

Happy with this - good solid slope, still the weight is dropping at a good rate. Long may it continue!

13 Stone
Dropped below 14 stone today - 13 stone 13 lb. That's another goal done and dusted :-). On track for 13 st 7 lb before Chrismas - for 3 stone total loss.
This is despite of a lack of training last week and eating out twice on the weekend plus eating out twice this week - away all weekend and birthdays etc this week. Back to normal now though.
On the subject of sleep, I now have full blackout curtains installed as the street lights keep my room pretty bright overnight. Now I just need to stop my optical mouse staying lit all night - even if the PC is off!

Hacking Sleep
A good post on sleep has come to my attention:
Alarm clocks are bad
Never really thought of the problems of feeling tired if you wake up in deep sleep. I usually wake up at 0630 - 0730 naturally, but then snooze until just before 0800 due in part to laziness. I have noticed I feel better when I wake up naturally compared to when my alarm clock gets me. I dread getting up at the moment as my radiator has packed in and its about 11 deg C in my room in the mornings - bed seems the best place to be.
Anyway, I got up this morning when I woke up, and this is now my goal for the run up to xmas - get up a) earlier and b) when I wake up. I might use the suggested alarm clock hack as well.

Another Goal
As of last night I am under 200lb! That's 14 Stone 4lb for us brits.....
Next milestone is getting into the 13 stone bracket, which should take 1 to 2 weeks... Then my main goal is under 13 stone 7 lb before Christmas - That will make it a 3 stone loss in around 4 and a half months. Thinking about it, if I get to this weight early, which I am on Track for... I may have to find a new target.
That gives me the opportunity to have a few nights out over Christmas and not feel guilty. I should be able to maintain weight over the Christmas period anyway - I cant eat huge portions now and my family have been supportive, so there will be a lighter option for me at most meals.
Workouts are OK, but I tend to be only getting 2 in a week and not 3. Mondays I feel bad, and weekends are busy, so my Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday split isn't working. Then again, 2 is better than 1 and 1 is infinitely better than none, so its all good. Most weekends up till Christmas should be free so after this weekend I can get back on track.

A bit Sore
Good workout last night - pushed myself and I am feeling it today. I added calf raises back in - I did 10 per leg, lifting my bodyweight only. No pain so far today, so I will continue with them - maybe I just went too heavy the first time. I could do more weight, the muscles there but it was pain in my ankle joint that caused problems last time.
My weight is the same as it was on Thursday last week, so I lost 4 days work for a night out. Thats OK as long as its less than once a month. I do not intend to go out drinking again until Christmas. Time for my morning snack now anyway.

Heavy Weekend
Allowed myself a treat on the weekend - a night out. Drank a reasonable amount (of good beer) :-) and then was woken up at 8am - to go for a full english breakfast! Breakfast was finally aquired at 1030 so it was pretty much breakfast and lunch so I think I was close on calories on that day.
Oh well, back on track now anyway - will be following the same eating program again for a full 12 weeks starting today, but I will be switching to a proper 3 day split on weights. This means 3 different routines each week, and hopefully more time for muscles to recover between workouts. I also have the opportunity to go swimming once a week, so I think I will add that to my routine. I never managed to swim a length underwater (25m) so that's a goal for me (used to do 1 1/2 widths OK).
On a side note, I am a couple of pounds shy of getting sub 200lb.

The End
Finished my 12 week program now.
Weighed in last night at 14 stone 7 lb, which is dead on a 2 stone loss in 12 weeks. I suppose it could have been more, if I had not been ill, but its still excellent. Went out for a meal on Saturday Night, and my shirts are all far too baggy :-).
Will be posting pictures etc soon, and I will be continuing on my diet and weights program for the next 3 weeks anyway. After that, I will continue to eat healthily and exercise - it has become habit now. My next goal will be to lose 1 stone more - then I can see where I am and decide if I need to lose more.
Posting will continue.
